My character Xenai when she's about 80 odd or maybe 100..she's a dragon and thus only just entering maturity.

She becomes queen of the demons as her lover is heir to the throne and thus she is crowned queen. However several demons dislike fact she is his only queen and is not a pure demon. She is poisoned at aball and collapses. She is feared dead as is not seen for 2 to 3 weeks, and last anyone saw of her she was deathly pale. The poisoner is killed in rage and then resurrected to be tortured.
She enters the throne room like this, a foolish demoness trying to 'comfort' the king soon collapses to the floor as the queen kills her with the words ' He is mine, and mine alone!' This gets the courts attention all shocked to see her alive. To which several others tryto flee, they had been involved in the poisoning but they rounded up and escortedto the dungeons.
One lady commented on fact its no good being queen if can't produced heirs. To this she reminds them she's a dragon and thus not quite at maturity but unlike her the demoness would have no young...she'd had cut off the blood supply to her eggs and they were dying. An unfertile demoness being not good in the structure of the court was taken away by the guards to the queens words' do with her as you wish'.
The king not having taken his eyes off her is doing his best to not pounce his little treasure. Who at this point walks towards him sits stradling him before she fades them both from the throne room >.>

Random bit of story and i will draw her lover Aleric at some point...
I drew this in August 2008 and only just coloured it in watercolours and pencils.
I so need to work on keeping my highlights and darker shadows. This only looks better than usual work as my friend Shane did a very quick value study of it and i then merged that with originals in photoshop and used filters to get this. I do so love when he does that for me.
